Un paio di settimane fa il King Karl ha abbagliato ancora una volta, grazie al suo annuale show dei "Métiers d'Art", tutta la fashion pack e volevamo dunque condividere con voi questo tributo al "savoir-faire" che per noi è sempre un bel "coup de coeur".
Quest'anno ancora Sir Karl ha onorato con maestria il D.N.A della maison Chanel inspirandosi (forse) alla vita ammorosa tra Coco e il suo Duca di Westminster...mescolando passato, futuro e conoscienza di questi antichi laboratori (Barrie Knitwear è l'ultimo arrivato nella scuderia Chanel).
"Paris-Edinburgh" direzione Linlithgow Palace, che fu nel 1542 la dimora dove naque Marie Stuart (Regina di Scozzia e di Francia) decorata magicamente al lume di mille candele per la serata e con la melodia di varie cornamuse dando cosi il via al "ballo" in una atmosfera mistica.
Conti, Contesse, Duchi e Duchesse della contea e del pianeta fashion sono stati invitati a questo spetacolo dove Tweed, Lana, Tartan, Cachmire, Piume, Plastron, Collari, Pelle di Porcelana e Acconciature Intrecciate erano le star della serata.
Ammiriamo e amiamo l "unione" celebrata anno dopo anno da Mr.Karl e Chanel comprando per la loro sopravvivenza questi gioielli del patrimonio culturale e artistico dando cosi la possibilità di fare durare nel tempo il meraviglioso, vero e unico "savoir-faire" di questi Métiers d'Art che abbiamo (per ora) la fortuna di avere.
Déjà quelques semaines sont passées depuis que le King Karl à émerveiller la planète mode avec son annuel show des Métiers d'Art (car il s'agit bien d'un show époustouflant à chaque représentation) mais on tenait à le partager avec vous quand même car pour nous cet hommage au savoir-faire est à chaque fois un vrai "coup de coeur" et cette année encore Sir Karl a su rendre honneur au code de la maison Chanel s'inspirant (peut-être) à la vie amoureuse de Coco et de son Duc de Westminster...nouant passé, future et savoir-faire des anciens ateliers (Barrie Knitwear est la star cette année, acheter par Chanel).
"Paris-Edinburgh" direction le Linlithgow Palace; ancienne résidence de Marie Stuart (Reine d'Ecosse et de France); au décor féerique, illuminé pour l'occasion de millier de bougies, le son des cornemuses ouvrant le "bal" pour une atmosphère mystique .
Comtes, Comtesses, Duc et Duchesses de la comté et de la planète fashion on été conviés à ce spectacle où Tweed, Laine, Tartan, Cachemire, Plumage, Plastron, Collerettes, Teint de Porcelaine et Coiffures Nattés étaient les stars de la soirée.
Nous admirons et aimons le "mariage" que Mr.Karl avec la maison Chanel (re)célèbres année après année en rachetant pour leur survie ces joyaux du patrimoine culturel et artistique permettant ainsi de faire perdurer le merveilleux, vrai et unique savoir-faire de tous ces Métiers d'Art que nous avons (encore) la chance d'avoir.
Already a few weeks have passed since the King Karl marveled the fashion world with its annual "Métiers d'Art" show (because it is indeed an amazing show at each performance) so we wanted to share it with you anyway, because for us this tribute to the "savoir-faire" is a real "coup de coeur" each time and also this year Sir Karl has honored the Chanel's code inspired (perhaps) to the love life of Coco and the Duke of Westminster... mixed between past, future and "savoir-faire" of old workshops (Barrie Knitwear is the star of this year, bought by Chanel).
"Paris-Edinburgh" direction Linlithgow Palace, old residence of Mary Stuart (Queen of Scotland and France), with an enchanting setting, illuminated for the occasion of a thousand candles and the sound of bagpipes who opening the "ball" all in an mystical atmosphere.
Counts, Countesses, Duke and Duchesses of the county and the fash pack have been invited to this show where Tweed, Wool Tartan, Kashmir, Plumage, Plastron, Collarettes, Porcelain Make-up and Braids were the stars of the evening.
We admire and love the "union" that Mr.Karl with Chanel (re) celebrated; year after year; for the survival buying these gems of cultural and artistic heritage, thereby to perpetuate the wonderful, true and unique "savoir-faire" to all "Métiers d'Art" and we (still) lucky to have.
