For our first week end as Milanese Girls, we decided to spend it in a cultural way (and for free hehe)!
Saturday, we went to the Salone Fotografica 2012, by Canon (Via Tortona); an event that allows all passionated people to get informations about upcoming trends in the digital sector; with activities, several themes, conferences, exhibitions and various workshops.
Sunday, we thought it would be nice to see the Picasso exhibition at the Palazzo Reale, but obviously, a thousand of other people had the same idea. So to gratify our appetite of culture, after proposing various options, we opted for the Museum of the 19th, which is just next door, and where we've never been (like many other places in Milan and many Milaneses).
We were quite surprised by its great structure, its collection ranging from Picasso, Boccioni, DeChirico, Fontana Arte pose, etc ... Futurism, with its spiral (Guggenheim inspiration), with Duomo of Milan View and neon "sky."
A great discovery that we recommend, with your kids perhaps.
Of course, followed by our dear Cappuccino break ;)
