Con questo tempo incerto degli ultimi giorni, che balla tra raggi di sole, tende di pioggia e nuvole grigie ci è venuta grande nostalgia per la città più famosa per il suo tempo variabile da un minuto all'altro.

Ovviamente stiamo parlando di New York, li stranamente pero' qualsiasi cosa ha un sapore diverso, sarà l'atmosfera delle sue Avenue, i suoi multipli coffee-shop, la sua "arte" in ogni dove, i profumi delle strade, i grattacieli dominanti, le sirene della polizia in sottofondo o gli incontri per caso etc...ma tutto sembra fantastico.

Esattamente due anni fa abbiamo avuto la fortuna di vivere un esperienza di alcuni mesi nella città che non dorme mai, e ci ha completamente conquistati.

I ricordi di quei giorni passati a vivere ogni singolo angolo di Manhattan ci ha riempito il cuore e spesso ci piacerebbe tornare indietro nel tempo o ritrovarci in un batter d'occhio in mezzo a Time Square.

La teletrasportazione non ancora inventata e la macchina del tempo mai commercializzata abbiamo pensato di trovarci la nostra grande mela milanese.

Ecco a voi la nostra NY-MI:

• Vi consigliamo d'iniziare la giornata con un "latte to-go" da BAGEL FACTORY,  fare due passi tra gli alberi vinacci del Central Park Milanese, sorseggiando la vostra bevanda su una panchina, leggendo il vostro quotidiano preferito.
• Il shot d'energia in corpo, direi che un alt culturale non puo' mancare, percio' vi portiamo tra le mure dello SPAZIO FORMA dove numerose mostre fotografiche bellissime allestiscono e fanno vivere le stanze. In particolare quella in corso, piena di poesia e molto cinematografica, che vi prenderà il cuore sulla storia americana, narrata, "con la capacità di scavare e comprendere le pieghe della società, da uno dei più grandi fotografi del XX°s" GORDON PARKS.
•   Dopo tanta bellezza e "storie" possiamo avviarci in zona Ticinese , riempire le nostre pance con un menù tutto americano al 202, hamburger al pane soffice e fries, in un atmosfera di mattonelle e metro piastrelle tipiche di NYC.
• Sulla via dello stile urban street potreste fare una piccola sosta da COMBOCOVE, shop multibrand per uomini e donne, con forme, colori e dettagli che faranno risaltare un outfit minimal con un pezzo strong, il nostro like a i numerosi e divertenti college bags. 
• Invece per un total look nero ai tagli "strutturati" tipico newyorchese vi consigliamo F.R.A.V, April77, Opening Ceremony, Tatoosh, Surface to Air etc...riempiono gli scaffali di questo store.
• Lunch terminato, pronti per un check della pelle da KIEL'S, maestri nel campo dal 1851, un esperto vi consiglierà maschera all' argilla, all' açai o quel che meglio sarà per nutrire il vostro viso e essere splendente per l'arrivo dell'estate.
• Se vi venisse voglia di dare un taglio alla vostra chioma prima del caldo torrido, una spunttatina alle punte o un look diverso un po' anni 50, in un ambiente old school seduti sulla poltrona da barbiere originale, un artista del capello vi aspetta da GUM. 
• Per chi invece avesse bisogno di magliettine classiche 3x2, pull-over a V (noi preferiamo quelli da uomo) o tute colorate, i colossi americani GAP, BANANA REPUBLIC, ABERCROMBIE che con la loro semplicità tutta americana seducono tutto il mondo, sono presenti in centro a Milano.
• Dopo tutta sta faticata potete "spegnere la vostra sete" con un buon coke float (una bevanda a base di gelato alla vaniglia e coca-cola) da TIZZY'S.
• Come tutte le Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte, Samantha è d'obbligo una "mani-pedi" perfetta, da Tong-Tong potette affidarvi alle ragazze (tutte giovanissime) per avere unghie laccate o fantasiose (da 15€ in su), ma a voi il (duro) compito di scegliere tra le mille sfumature dei vari smalti.  
• Questa full-immersion di sapori made in U.S ci ha dato perfino la voglia, tornando a casa, di cucinare un carrot-cake per la merenda e finire questa giornata in dolcezza.

Le temps incertain de ses derniers jours, qui valse entre rayons de soleil, rideau de pluie et nuage gris nous ont rendus nostalgiques de la ville plus fantastique et connue pour son temps changeant d'une minute à l'autre.

Nous parlons évidemment de NY, mais biensur là-bas étrangement tout à un goût différent, peut-être pour l'atmosphère de ses grandes Avenues, pour ses multiples coffee-shops, l'art à tous les coins de rues, les parfums envoutant, pour ses gratte-ciel dominant, les "sirènes" de la nuit ou les rencontres du hasard etc...mais tout semblent fantastique.

Il y a exactement deux ans nous avons eu la chance de vivre une expérience unique et merveilleuse de quelques mois dans la ville qui ne dort jamais.

Les souvenirs des jours passés à vivre chaque recoin de Manhattan nous remplissent le coeur; et souvent nous aimerions retourné en arrière dans le temps ou en un claquement de doigt se retrouver à Time Square.

Malheureusement la téléportation n'est pas encore dans nos moeurs et la machine à remonter le temps toujours pas commercialisé, donc pour soulager notre manque nous avons trouvé notre grande pomme milanaise.

Voici notre NY-MI: 

• Pour commencer la journée nous vous conseillons un "latte to-go" chez BAGEL FACTORY, marcher quelques pas vers les arbres aux feuilles couleurs lie-de-vin du Central Park milanais, et déguster votre boisson sur un banc en lisant votre quotidien favori.
• Le shot d'énergie avalé, une petite pause culturelle s'impose, pour cela direction SPAZIO FORMA où de très belles expos photographiques on fait halte, en particulier celle en cours; pleines de poésie et très cinématographique; toute dédier à l'histoire américaine, narré  "avec la capacité de creuser et comprendre les plis de la société, par un des plus grands photographes du XX°s" GORDON PARKS.
• Après tant de beauté et "d'histoires" il est l'heure de remplir nos petits estomacs avec un casse-croûte typiquement américain au 202, au menu hamburger au pain moelleux accompagné de fries, briques rouges et carrelage métro vous transporte dans une atmosphère emblématique New-yorkaise.    
• En poursuivant la rue au style urban street (zona Ticinese), nous vous suggérons un petit stop à la boutique COMBOCOVE, un shop multibrand, pour femme et homme, où formes, couleurs et détails vitamines des looks un peu austères. Un like spécial aux charmants collèges bags.
• Pour un look total black, aux coupes structurées typiquement NYC, F.R.AV fera votre bonheur, April77, Opening Ceremony, Tatoosh, Surface To Air etc...remplissent les étagères de ce store.
• Lunch bouclé, un petit check de la peau chez KIEL'S s'impose, maître de la peau depuis 1851, un expert se fera un plaisir de vous conseiller masque à l'argile, body-lotion au musc où tout ce qui pourrait vous être nécessaire pour votre bien-être avant les nuits d'été.
• Si par hasard une folle envie d'une nouvelle tête avant la chaleur estivale vous trotte, nous avons dégoté pour vous le salon idéal, une coupe au look 50 dans un fauteuil original de barbier par un artiste du cheveu vous attend chez GUM .     
• Pour des nécessités basic, t-shirts, pulls en V de toutes les couleurs (perso on préfère ceux d'hommes) et joggings, les colosses du marché américain GAP, BANANA et ABERCROMBIE sont là pour vous servir. 
• Après tout se va et vient, il est temps de recharger les batteries avec un coke float (boisson à base de glace à la vanille et coca) chez TIZZY'S.
• Pour toutes les Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda et Samantha qui sont en nous et qui se respecte, une "mani-pedi" est indispensable, les petites chinoises de Tong-Tong se feront un plaisir de rendre vos ongles laqués parfaitement (pour 15 euros seulement) mais à vous le dur devoir de choisir parmi les mille nuances de couleurs.
• Avec toute cette immersion de bouquet de saveur made in U.S, en rentrant à la maison, l'envie de cuisiner un carrot cake pour le goûter nous a titillés et terminés ainsi la journée en douceur.

With this uncertain weather of the last days, dancing between rays of sun, rain curtains and gray clouds made us nostalgic for the most fantastic and famous city for its changeable weather from one minute to another.

We're obviously talking about New York, but there, strangely everything has a different taste, perhaps the atmosphere of its Avenue, the multiple coffee-shop, the "art" everywhere, the smells of the streets, the buildings dominating, the police sirens, the meetings by chance, etc...but everything seems special.

Exactly two years ago we had the chance to live an incredible experience of a few months that has completely conquered us in the city that never sleeps.

The memories of those days, living every single corner of Manhattan fill our heart, and often we would like to go back in time or in a snap being in the middle of Time Square.

The teleportation not yet invented and time machine never commercialized, we decided to find our big apple in Milan.

Our NY in town:

• We recommend that you start the day with a "latte to-go" from BAGEL FACTORY, then after walk through the bordeaux trees in the Milan Central Park and enjoy your drink on a bench reading your favorite daily.
• The energy shot , a cultural break is needed, go to the SPAZIO FORMA where many beautiful photographic exhibitions halted, in particular the current one, full of poetry and very cinematographic, take your heart on American history, narrated "with the ability to dig and understand the creases of society, by one of the greatest photographer of the XXth century" GORDON PARKS.
• After such beauty and "stories" it's time to fill our stomach with a small snack in the typical U.S. 202, burger of soft bread with fries, bricks and tiles subway for an iconic atmosphere of New York .
• On the way of urban street style, we recommend a short stop at the shop COMBOCOVE, a multibrand shop for women and men, where shapes, colors and details shake a looks a little austere and a special like to the charming college bags.
• For a total black look with structured cuts typically from New York, F.R.A.V will make you happy, April77, Opening Ceremony, Tatoosh, Surface To Air etc ... filled the shelves of this store.
• Lunch ended, a small skin-check at KIEL'S is required, master since 1851, an expert will be happy to advise you mask clay, bodylotion musk or anything that you need for your beauty before the summer nights.
• If you want a new head before the summer heat, we dug up your ideal salon, a cut in an original barber chair by an artist of hair awaits you at GUM.
• For basics t-shirts, colored V sweaters (personally preferred those of men) and joggings, the giants of the U.S. market GAP, BANANA REP. and ABERCROMBIE seduce, with their simplicity all over the world and also in the center of Milan..
• After all this grueling back and go, it's time to recharge the batteries with a coke float (beverage with vanilla ice cream and cola) at TIZZY'S .
• Like any Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda and Samantha in the city a "mani-pedi" is essential,  the lil Chinese from Tong-Tong will be happy to make your nails perfectly lacquered (for only 15€) but up to you the hard task to choose among the thousand shades of colors.
• With all this full-immersion of flavor made in U.S. back home we cook a delicious carrot-cake (a first time for us), for end the day on a sweet note.
